• engage in activities which encourage enterprising attitudes

At St Modan’s in S1 and S2 we cover:

          Kettle’s Koffee

          Democracy and Elections

Chronology, Wars of Independence and Local History

Pupils learn through a range of learning and teaching strategies and are regularly set homework through our IRIS (Improving Reading in Social Subjects) homework.  Pupils will be given a current news article to read and complete activities on. These are differentiated into activities everyone MUST complete, activities everyone SHOULD complete if they can and activities they COULD complete if they want to stretch themselves.
