SQA Study leave for eligible pupils starts on Tuesday 2nd May.
Please see below for information on SQA Study Leave Arrangements for each year group:
Pupils taking no National 5 qualifications are not eligible for study leave and will be expected to attend school as normal for the duration of the exam period. They will continue to follow their
normal timetable from Tuesday 2nd May and will begin their new S5 timetable as of Monday 15th May.
Pupils taking 1 or 2 National 5 qualifications will be expected to attend school as normal – but will be offered a maximum of 4 school days study leave prior to each exam. This will require parental consent. Further information to follow.
Pupils taking 3 or more National 5 qualifications will be granted full study leave from Tuesday 2nd May to Friday 2nd June (inclusive). This includes the S4 work experience week from Monday 29th May to Friday 2nd June
****All pupils progressing to new S5 must attend a one-day S5 Conference in school on Monday 5th June and return to normal classes from Tuesday 6th June****
All current S5/6 pupils are eligible for full study leave from Wednesday 29th April.
All pupils progressing to new S6 must attend a one-day S6 Conference on Monday 5th June. Details of this event will be sent to all pupils by post.
